Remaking
landscapes

The theme of this
years Biennial focuses on those
landscapes which appear remade
in those spaces that have lost their names in the recent past. On the brown-fields,
the cracks of the imageless periphery, in the forgotten places of the urbanised territory,
there are hidden opportunities to improve an environment that we already consider our own;
half way between that which is natural and that which is built, between
that which is real and that which is imagined. We want to get ready to conquer those future territories.
